Approximate Dimensions of the Touchstone Pottery Saint Peregrine oval Patron Saints porcelain necklace is:
Patron of Cancer patients and those who are ill (circa 1260 -1345)
Born to an anti-Catholic family, St. Peregrine was converted in his youth. He joined the Servants of Mary and became a powerful preacher of the gospel. An open sore on his leg was diagnosed as cancer and he was to have his leg removed. The night before his surgery, Peregrine prayed before the crucifix. He had a vision of Christ reaching from the cross and touching his afflicted leg. In the morning his leg was completely healed. Peregrine continued his good works for 25 years after he was healed.
This handcrafted round piece is fired into the clay at 2200, producing remarkable clarity and ceramic-hard durability that will not peel or wear off. Each is surprisingly lightweight, finished to a satin touch and comfortable to wear.
The Touchstone Pottery Saint Peregrine oval Patron Saints porcelain necklace comes packaged in a gift box with a card describing the story of the saint. The Touchstone Pottery necklace has a silver tone bale that will accommodate a variety of chains cords, or wires (check size above), if you want to replace the cord.
